The Make-A-Wish Foundation has always been one of my favorite organizations! While I have been happy to make donations and volunteer on a personal level, I'd like to urge you to do the same!
The Suffolk County chapter of The Make-A-Wish Foundation has great demand for the following donations:
Toys
Videos/DVDs
Backpacks
Messenger Bags
Disposable Cameras
Power Strips
Suitcases
Sports Equipment
Gift Cards (for wish recipients)
Limousine Services
Additionally, chapters in Nassau, Suffolk and the five boroughs are seeking the following:
Building Supplies
Frequent Flier Miles*
Hotel Loyalty Points*
Computer Equipment
Hot Tubs & Spas
*Most frequent flier miles and hotel loyalty points expire. You may have unused points or miles which will expire soon and go unused. What a wonderful gift to pay them forward to help a wish kid travel to receive their wish!
In the spirit of giving, any person who makes a donation of any of the above items or a monetary donation of $25 or more to the Make-A-Wish foundation between now and December 31, 2010 will receive 10% off of any of our packages. This offer applies to new clients only.
